Description
The private brewery Sterk is a small traditional brewery in Raigering, a district of Amberg in the Upper Palatinate. The Elector Maximilian Emanuel awarded on January 30, 1723 the brewing rights to the electoral chamberlain and vice-governor in Amberg, Johann Tobias Ignatz Nytz, Count of Wartenburg. The existing rock cellar was already built at that time. Since 1894 it is owned by the Sterk family.
