We are 7 friends and founders of MetaBrewSociety. We are united by our love of good beer, Web3 and NFTs. Founded in April 2022, MetaBrewSociety became a mega success story in less than a year. We bought a brewery in Bavaria in August 2022 with funding from private investor friends. With well over 1,000 NFTs (digital participation certificates) of around EUR 1,000 each sold, we are one of the most successful German NFT projects ever and the first Web3 brewery worldwide. Our brewery in Naila, Bavaria, has a history of over 500 years and a production capacity of over 100 thousand hectoliters per year. Our team around master brewer Christian Thomale brews outstanding and innovative beers with great passion. Our mission began with the idea of brewing beers with 50% less alcohol and calories, but 100% taste. This became a whole product line of incomparably good light beers for every taste. Now MetaBrewSociety has acquired the license rights to the legendary Mathäser Brau brand in October 2023 and will give the brand - brewed in Naila with attention to detail and scalability - a new lease of life. The focus is on traditional Bavarian beers of the highest quality, which will soon be available again across the board in shops and restaurants.
