MEINE GROSSE LIEBE Unternehmensgesellschaft (UG) was founded in late summer 2019. The vision and idea of a white-blue beer for Munich and the entire Free State came about more than a year ago. "The idea and the first implementation of the pilot project already took place at the beginning of 2018, but there were first a few hurdles and challenges to overcome before the production of MEINE GROSSE LIEBE could successfully start in September 2019," says Stephan Schmidt, managing director of MEINE GROSSE LIEBE UG, discerning beer connoisseur, native of Munich and passionate football fan. Together with long-time business partner Franz Luitpold Egerer of the private brewery H. Egerer, the product concept and its implementation very quickly took shape. Both are also united by their passion for the same Munich football club. But where did the unusual product name come from? The love itself, the love of Bavarian culture, the typically cosy Munich way of life, the love of sport and in short the love of life in the "most beautiful city in the world" contributed decisively to the naming. "We want to make our contribution and express our passion for all these things with the emotional brand "MEINE GROSSE LIEBE"," explain Stephan Schmidt and Franz Luitpold Egerer with a smile on their lips. "Our goal is to pause for a moment during an enjoyable time-out with MEINE GROSSE LIEBE to reflect on what "MEINE GROSSE LIEBE" means to each individual in our fast-paced times."
