The Private Landbrauerei Maierbräu Altomünster has been family-owned since 1886 and is now run by the 5th generation of the Maier family, represented by Managing Director Christoph Maier. Of course, a lot has changed in all this time. But one thing has remained the same: "The love of brewing beer". Our seven artisan and traditionally brewed specialty beers are matured to perfection in the vaulted cellar. They have recently been awarded the Golden DLG Prize 2024 again. We are proud of 7x gold. Our master brewer and his team combine the traditional art of brewing with modern technology. We deliberately avoid pasteurization processes in order to preserve the unique character of our beers.
