Tradition and craftsmanship - for us, these are not sales phrases. And certainly not folklore. We are a family business and fourth-generation brewers by conviction. Out of passion. Out of a simple desire for genuine enjoyment. And because we have a very specific idea of what an outstanding beer must have: Character. We are happy to leave cheap mass-produced beer to the industry. We don't bend over backwards for a few hectoliters more. On the contrary. We are a proud, not even that small, Upper Franconian private brewery. At home in the Wunderburg in Bamberg for centuries.
Family-owned since 1895. Firmly rooted in the region. Committed then as now to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. Happy about our success, but always aware of our responsibility. Because we can rely on our age-old craft, we have our heads free for the present. We go into the future with curiosity and lots of ideas.
