Description

Between 1669 and 1883 there was already a “Loder Bräu” at the Angerkloster in Munich, which later bore the name Löwenbräu. Alois Loder sen. and jun. started in 2009 with the family brewing tradition and started brewing beer in the basement of the Pension Seerose. The Loder family had already won a state championship title at the state championship of home and small brewers in 2010. In 2012 the brewery again won the state championship title, in 2013 the Loder Bräu even became double state champion, with father Alois winning with his “Lager Dunkel” and his son with the Dunkelweisse. After both father and son brew in the Loder Bräu, a second brewing system was purchased in 2011. As a result, the Loder Bräu now has two brewing systems from the brewery system manufacturer Gruber with 150-liter and 50-liter brewing capacity. The open fermentation takes place in the two lauter tuns and in two other vessels, the beer is then filled into barrels and poured out to the house guests and sold in the brother's bakery. In addition to the brewing facilities, the Loder family also operates a beer vinegar factory, with bock beers generally being converted to Kaiserwinkler beer vinegar on a 150 liter Labu vinegar system. The Loder family also offers other breweries the opportunity to make beer vinegar from their beers.
