5 breweries under one roof. The Vogelsberger Landbrauereien are exclusively family owned and the shops are run by the owner family. At the beginning of 2015, the Lauterbacher Burgbrauerei Auerhahn Bräu Schlitz took over Alsfelder beer specialties. The Vogelsberger Landbrauereien, which is the new and uniform name for all breweries, was the result of this merger of the neighboring regional breweries. The Alsfelder is still brewed in Alsfeld.
