Kreis Bräu Erlangen

Julian's passion for beer is great: In 2010, he begins his studies in brewing and beverage technology. Along the way, he also kept brewing at home. Together with two fellow students, he founded the Bierfabrik in Berlin. Julian is also involved in Brauhaus Neulich: He supports as a brewer and consultant. After a few years of work experience, he completed his vocational training as a brewer and maltster in Kulmbach for this purpose. In Erlangen, Florian and Julian have been brewing with friends on and off over the years. Using a gas burner and stainless steel pots, they build their own 80-liter system. Bottling is done by hand in bottles and barrels. In 2017, the idea is born to start something together in Erlangen: Kreis Bräu is founded! In the beginning, there was only draft beer. The Café Brazil and the Hinterhaus were the first places to go in Erlangen and through friends and acquaintances a large part was also sold in Berlin and Leipzig. For a few years now, the two have been concentrating on Erlangen. In the meantime, Kreis Bräu is also available in bottles. They have brought Kreis Bräu to various Erlangen pubs and beverage markets.
