Once a month - always on the second Saturday - beer is brewed in the brewery of the Kommunbräu Rehau eV. Anyone can join in and even for spectators beer brewing becomes an experience. A Biersud means 8 hours of physical, sometimes heavy, work. Every step of brewing is going through it, just like a "real" brewery. From the malted meal to the spice with yeast ... all handmade. The Rehauer beer is an unfiltered, amber full beer with a gravity of 13% and an alcohol content of about 4.9 vol%. The recipe comes from old brewing protocols of the commun brewers. Mostly the beer is brewed for own events.
