In 1993 the Klüver family leased the old fish shed directly at the port of Neustadt. After a fundamental renovation, a restaurant was built in it. In the same year, son Olaf joined the family business. However, the lease ended in 2000 - and the city fathers disagreed about the future of the fish hall. Quite a few wanted to have the building torn down. After the publication of a tender for future-oriented use, Olaf Klüver submitted the concept of a home brewery with an attached restaurant - his long-cherished dream. Olaf's plan worked - today the brewery is the dominant attraction and meeting point at the harbor, so to speak, the "new center" of Neustadt. Here you can meet for a chat after work as well as for happy festivities. The events offered range from public viewing of special events to a wide variety of music events such as "cutter rock". In addition, the brewery organizes a Christmas tree sale every year in favor of the Neustädter Tafel.
