Description

In 1911 the church pastor Oskar Svenberg founded the juice and wine factory in Herrljunga in Sweden. Preacher Svenberg needed Messwein for church services. Since availability was limited, he started to make the wine himself and sell it to other churches. The Branmark family took over the company in 1945. In 1969, Bertil Branmark and his son Sture traveled to England to attend a football game. After the game both went to a pub and ordered Cider. After this evening, they had the idea to make their own cider. After a few tests, the production started. Herrljunga is one of the most popular cider in Sweden today.
