Description
The merger of the Moninger brewery from Karlsruhe (founded in 1856) with the Hofbrauhaus Hatz from Rastatt (founded in 1863) to form the Hatz-Moninger joint brewery took place in 2010. The majority ownership of Hatz-Moninger Brauhaus GmbH was acquired by the Scheidtweiler family. The aim is to continue the successful brewing traditions of the Hatz & Moninger families and once again offer Karlsruhe and its surroundings individual beers with a strong character.
