Description
The Stuhlmacher can look back on a history rich in tradition, which began in 1890 with the restaurateur Louis Stuhlmacher. Since then, the Stuhlmacher has always been family-owned and is still run by the Feldhaus family, now in its 4th generation.
Stuhlmacher is home to many regulars' tables, clubs and student fraternities. Visitors on a shopping spree in Münster like to stop in here, and Münster merchants also like to drop in for a twilight pint after closing time.
The Stuhlmacher is a restaurant in Münster that combines both the character of a restaurant and that of a pub or tavern. This means that guests can be offered different ambiences thanks to the differently designed rooms, so that all guests feel at home at "Stuhls". In addition to the large taproom, there are another 4 rooms of different sizes and furnishings that can be used as a restaurant, for regulars' tables or private celebrations and parties. The various historical paintings tell of the history of the house and the town. In the summer months, the large terrace offers a very special place that is unrivalled among the restaurants in Münster city centre.
