Feisty Goat Brewing started in 2016 as Filip's home brewing project in Beijing, China, with the goal of brewing good and special beer for himself and his friends. And to his delight they drank his beer faster than he could brew it. Filip comes from a gastronomic family and grew up in his parents' restaurant between kitchen and counter. From there he got his passion for good food and drink. Asia is a foodie paradise, and Filip has been busy exploring all sorts of regional kitchens since 2009. There was virtually no watery lager beer in China before 2011, but then the first craft beer breweries started opening. There he also began to discover tasty beer, away from the German beer, for himself. The good feedback on his beer encouraged him to continue experimenting with different beers, improving his brewing technique, and then decided to make this hobby a profession. Filip returned to Berlin in 2017 to continue brewing and opening his own brewery.
