When the makers of the Effe & gold restaurants once again sat together for a late-night drink, they considered how they could make the offer even more diverse for their guests. Then came the brilliant idea: a beer of your own. It should be a really good beer. Smoking heads, intensive discussions, long and many - strenuous hours in the brewery cellar; until it was there: The Effinger. The own house brand was born. The first round of trials with regulars, friends and partners was so successful that it was quickly decided not to withhold the Effinger Craft beer collection from everyone else.
