We're a small (but growing) family run brewery based in Carlisle. We believe in proper, hand-crafted, full-flavoured beer that people want to drink and enjoy. No gimmicks, no pretensions, just proper beer. We've spent more years than we care to remember drinking real ale of all styles and flavours. This culminated in us buying our own pub, The Spinners Arms in Cummersdale, Carlisle in 2007 - where we naturally continued our research! In 2013, we took it a step further and set up a 2.5 barrel microbrewery on site. We outgrew this quite quickly and moved to our current premises, opening a bigger plant in October 2015.
