Description

The brewery was founded in 1900 by the couple Louisa and Emiel Van Honsebrouck on a small farmstead in Ingelmunster. Their sons Paul and Ernst continued the family business from 1922 until the brewery engineer Luc Van Honsebrouck, the third generation of the founding family, took over the management of the brewery; Luc Van Honsebrouck celebrated his 50th brewing anniversary in 2005 and published a book about his long professional life in the Van Honsebrouck private brewery.
