We started out as passionate hobby brewers with a dream: to bring craft beer to Freiburg. We have put together and brewed several recipes. We then tasted the results with our friends and colleagues and revised the ingredients and cooking times. In 2014 we were ready: We scaled up the recipe from 20l to 30hl and have not looked back since. We brew most of our beer in the Black Forest in an independent brewery that is still family-owned. So we bring a craft beer spark to an otherwise more traditional brewhouse. Together we design our own recipes and secure the appropriate variety of hops and malt for every type of beer that we brew. We were also lucky enough to brew together with friends here in Germany and around the world: so-called 'collaboration beers'. In the beginning we only brewed for the Freiburg area, but the demand was quickly felt throughout southern Baden. In addition to our local markets, we now also supply craft beer bars and bottle shops throughout Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France and Japan. We are currently working on opening a small brewhouse in Freiburg. It has been an amazing adventure since 2013 and we are thrilled and honored to be part of this growing craft beer movement.
