Description

Jever is a named after their city of origin Jever German beer brand and brewed since 1848 by the Frisian Brauhaus to Jever. When Friesische Brauhaus was founded in Jever in 1848 by Diedrich König, it was just one of many breweries in the region. After his death in 1867 his son sold the brewery. The new owner Theodor Fetköter began transforming the small family business into a large brewery, advertising and making special bottles. In 1894 he was instrumental in the first water pipe for the city of Jever.
