On January 5th, 2018 driving to Augsburg to the Riegele brewery. That finally convinced tje creators of Brauhaus Gemering: they now make their our own beer. Gone are the days of drinking industrial beer. From then on, things went uphill at a gallop: founding a GmbH, asking experts Mathias Lottes and Yu from the Braukraft brewery in Gilching and setting up their own brewery cellar. They transformed an old cellar into a modern production facility ourselves, procured four 400 liter fermenters and experimented with recipes on their new Brewtower 140 (and poured a few hl down the drain). Then, after just two years, realizing their dream and moved into the former Germeringer dairy. After 9 months of construction work, a 10hl brewhouse was put into operation - and built up a 110hl tank capacity. This meant they could finally brew enough beer for Germering.
