Description

The brewery Pöllinger is a brewery in Pfeffenhausen in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut. 1474 Tafnerhof, the birthplace of the brewery Pöllinger, in Pfeffenhausen the tavern and brewing rights. In 1738, the brewery was the only one of six breweries to be spared the market fire. 1891 the first steam engine of the place was put into operation. The water of the Elsbethenquelle is the basis for the beverage production. The brewery is family owned and has 45 employees. The total output is around 220,000 hl. The output of beer in 2008 was about 40,000 hectoliters.
