Description
The brewery Märkl is a small traditional brewery in Freudenberg in the Upper Palatinate. The brewery currently has an output of about 5,000 hectoliters of beer per year. The brewery was first mentioned in 1466 and has been owned by the Märkl family since 1784. Thus, the brewery is the oldest in the Amberg area. Brewing is still going on in a medieval building.
