Finally, there is next to the brewery inn, especially known for its carp from its own rearing, the village cellar on the outskirts and the beer cellar on the Hallern Kreuz Kreuzberg. This sacred hill experienced over 20 pilgrimages a day in its earlier heyday, today thousands of beer cellar fans make a pilgrimage to the three beer cellars on the mountain on a fine day - although the Kreuzberg Chapel has remained a very popular wedding venue. We loved the hearty snacks, the warm cuisine and above all the fine home-baked cakes and donuts.
