Description
The long-established brewery is located in the center of the Upper Austrian district town of Grieskirchen. It was first mentioned in 1708, and in the 19th century, it was even considered the "easternmost Bavarian wheat beer brewery" because Grieskirchen was a royal Bavarian border town at that time. The brewery has been both a cooperative and a joint-stock company at different times. Sometimes it thrived, and at other times, it seemed to struggle. Since 2013, Marcus Mautner Markhof has been in charge of the business and is responsible for the extensive range of products. Eight years ago, he initiated the 4710 line. Since then, limited beer specialties of various kinds have been created.
