The Schuhmann family has owned the brewery since 1856 - and it will probably remain that way for many years to come. In the meantime, Dieter Schuhmann's two sons have followed in their father's footsteps and are taking care of the estate's needs. While Christian Schuhmann is responsible for brewing the beer, Peter Schuhmann stands in the kitchen, which was renovated in 2005, and prepares Franconian specialties such as hearty beer brewer's schnitzel or the ever-popular brewer's pan with dark beer sauce. On Sundays, there is also a rich lunch menu with Schäufela, goose breast and seasonal dishes.
