Description
A dynamic company Christian Bourganel, enterprising and innovative, in love with beer and the Ardèche, thinks about a solution to promote these two elements. After a few months of reflection and collaboration with the IFBM (Institut Français de Brasserie et Malterie) in Nancy, in 1997 the Ardèche fruit beers were born: La Brimbel and La Combel, originally brewed by the brasserie. Castelain, but the stated aim is to create a microbrewery in the Ardèche. The installation in Vals les Bains takes place in 2000, the beers change their name to develop a brand and become "Bourganel beer with blueberries from Ardèche" and "Bourganel beer with chestnuts from Ardèche". On June 1, 2000, Brasserie Bourganel offered local customers their first Ardèche brew, the Bière Blonde Ardéchoise. Given the success of these beers, the Bourganel brewery acquired new, more efficient equipment in 2004 and has expanded every year since then. In February 2006 the brewing room was changed and fermentation and aging tanks were added to increase the production capacity to 4,000 hectoliters per year. In March 2006 the nougat beer was launched, which was an instant success and which was awarded by the readers of the 'Bière-Magazin'. In December 2007 the Bourganel with Verbena from Velay 'was born. In December 2008, Bourganel with chestnut honey from the Ardèche was marketed. In April 2009 "The Beer of the Festival" is coming. In October 2009, the Bourganel with chestnut honey received the gold medal at the Mondial de la Bière. In March 2010, on the occasion of the brewery's 10th anniversary, the brown Bourganel 'B10' and the amber-colored Bourganel 'Amb'Beer' were released. In October 2013 the Bourganel Brune B10 received the gold medal at the Mondial Europe in Mulhouse. In April 2014, the Bourganel Blanch'07 was born.
