Description

In the walls of the old piano factory Luner & Pattart in Atzgersdorf in the 23rd district, Vienna there is the 100 flower brewery on over 550 m². Beer is brewed again in Liesing for the first time after 1973. A few years ago you started brewing beer in the kitchen. With beer brewery books and YouTube videos you mastered the art of brewing. While traveling you experienced the variety of beers from different countries and cultures that you measured in Austria. Hobby became passion and passion became vocation. Founded in spring 2016, as a new Viennese brewery you want to bring color to the Austrian beer landscape and break outdated conventions. As a trained sinologist, Alexander chose a reference from Chinese symbolism. 100 flowers means a new beginning, a spring if you will. A blooming flower is not enough for a spring of Austrian beer culture, you need 100 flowers. 100 flowers stands for the diversity of taste, the colorfulness of beer styles and the blossoming of Austrian beer culture.
