Zoigl beer is a designated specialty and has its origins in the communal brewhouses of the northern Upper Palatinate. As soon as finished beer was in the cellar, the Zoigl ("pointer") was hung out at the parlors, usually a brewer's star. After our brewhouse from 1617 was also used for a long time as a communal brewhouse by several brewers together, we follow this tradition and brew the Zoigl beer natural and amber.
