Cascade - White Grapple

This NW style sour ale is a blend of Blonde, Strong Blonde, Spiced Quad, and Wheat ales aged in a Pinot Noir Barrel. Aromas of white grape, sweet golden candy, and tart apple start this off. Oak, white grapes, and candy dance on the palate and lead to a finish of tart apples and a lingering dry finish of white grapes and candy. This is a true showcase for barrel aging and blending, as no fruit was used in this barrel.
