Beer description
The "Americanization" of the classic, English pale ale is based primarily on extensive hopping. The typically American varieties added throughout the brewing process, from the brew kettle to the end of fermentation, thus fulfill all quality characteristics. The result is an ale with a strong fruity, piney flavor and a pronounced grapefruit aroma. Such a pleasantly bitter beer requires a solid and nevertheless lean malt structure without residual sweetness. The mash therefore consists mainly of pale pale ale malt, as well as small additions of Munich malt for coloring. The pale wheat malt rounds out the smooth, clean finish.
