Beer description

This classic Bavarian, deep orange and yeasty cloudy wheat beer carries a majestic, fine-pored head. It was named after its malt used in the mash, Bayernkönig Weizen, which appeared on the market in 1918. This was one of Bavaria's most famous soft winter wheat varieties at the time. The bouquet of this top-fermented beer is dominated by yeast-induced, intensely fruity and phenolic banana and clove aromas. On the palate, it flatters with a velvety, creamy texture and a mild, caramel-like maltiness that fades into a pleasantly refreshing residual acidity on the finish.
