Weyermann® - 57 - Red Empress

Red Ale (top-fermented red beer) is one of the classic Irish beer styles. The Red Empress interpretation of this style presented here is bright copper in color with a light brownish head. What the appearance promises is reflected in the bouquet and taste. Earthy, typically fruity notes of red berries, delicate caramel and bread crust dominate. As well as soft, rum-like undertones of barrel and dried fruit that transition into a mild, mellow finish.
