Hopf's Dir rein pale ale goes the way of citrusy-fruity, herbaceous-hay to green tea with harmonious counterbalances of rich Munich and caramel malt flavors. This flavor alignment is a dazzling match for the deep orange honey color of the beer, which is topped with a firm, creamy white foam. The fruity bouquet of passion fruit, lemon, mango, pineapple, lychee and apricot is framed by a tart tea and bergamot profile. The finish is dominated by a subtle piney and resinous hop flower.
