Weyermann® - 32 - Pumpkin Ale

This orange, autumnal beer has a fine-pored head. The spicy bouquet smells distinctly of cinnamon, cloves and, of course, pumpkin. The taste is a highly aromatic blend of pumpkin and spice notes against a backdrop of mild, stone-fruit, earthy bitterness. This comes from the English hop variety Fuggle and the American Fuggle derivative Willamette. The body of the beer is nevertheless lean. On the finish, our Pumpkin Ale refreshes with a pleasant, almost peppery spiciness from allspice and ginger - rounded off with a mildly sweet pumpkin flavor.
