Spontaneous, sour
Fermentation
Beer description
Gose is a medieval beer from Goslar, whose brewing water was always slightly salty due to adjacent salt and silver mines. To refine the taste, brewers mixed some coriander into their seasonings. In today's Weyermann® interpretation, there is also a small portion of elderflower. Therefore, aromas of elderberry and coriander rise in the bouquet. The taste of this matte straw-yellow beer with its white head is an interplay of fresh, fruity, salty, sweet and sour notes that linger until the finish.
