A special mash was used for "Victor Frankenstein" made from Viennese malt (with a color between Pilsner and Munich malt). This gives the beer its reddish-brown color, reminiscent of light amber.
It has a full-bodied and slightly malt-forward taste. The use of the fine aroma hops Hallertauer Spalter Select gives it a pleasant bitterness in the finish.
"Victor Frankenstein" is also cold-hopped with the special hop Hallertauer Blanc. This gives it a fruity aroma and taste of citrus and some muscat grapes.
The special brew is cold-fermented and stored at 1°C for four weeks. Through cold filtration, the specialty beer becomes brilliantly clear.
