Beer description
Some days call for a stout. Other days are all like, “no, no, no, you need three stouts.” Vast Massiveness is for the latter days.
We tossed 25 lbs of toasted almonds into the mash of this dark, easy drinkin’ crusher. Then we topped it off with some Sabro hops in the whirlpool.
The brew crew’s tasting all the special dark chocolate and roasty toasty finishing flavors you’d expect from a nice Irish Stout, with a subtle twist of pineapple, mint, and citrus from the hops. The almonds tag-teamed up with some flaked oats to give a little complexity to this light-bodied brew, and we think it could totally be a dunker for some big blueberry biscotti.
