Wooden barrels, whiskey and especially bourbon are a match made in heaven with beer. The Barrelstar Galactica is the successor to our Barrel Wave and Barrel Hazard and is therefore a thick double mash stout matured in wooden barrels. Over a period of 6 months, the beer was allowed to mature in barrels of Buffalo Trace. Exactly when the beer was at its tasteful peak, we emptied the kegs and filled the beer for you. Barrelstar Galactica is an ode to the almost eponymous series, which you can enjoy as long as you enjoy a glass of beer.
