A rich and not too dark, golden color without any turbidity visually characterizes the Alpenstoff, which has a snow-white, medium foam crown with nice stability. The foam adheres well to the glass. Very intensive, grainy malt notes reach the nose, as well as slightly sweet notes and somewhat fruity-sour apple notes. These aromas also continue in the first drink, the malt notes are a little more intense and the fruity acidity is also clearly more dominant. Very full-bodied mouthfeel. The carbonation is very average, but fits well. A rather thin body around the now predominantly sweeter malt tones also brings with it the first, very light notes of bitter hops. Dry and short-lived aftertaste with fruity sour notes.
Nice white stable foam that holds up. Malty and slightly sweet with fruity notes followed by mild bitter hoppiness. A good drinkable beer.

When pouring, nice frothy head, not too bubbly, fruity sweet smell. Taste malts, sweet and slightly fruity. Overall refreshing, very drinkable.
