Was once a tornist - and now he is a tornist a second time
the story of lapland original lager is unparalleled. In the 1960s, the brewmasters of tornio were tasked with designing the beer that would become the most famous ever brewed in finland. After overcoming the setback, the northerners kicked things off again in 2016. Leo andelin, the legendary brewmaster, joined the team, with the original recipe for his favourite beer in his back pocket. And so not only the historic brewery was revived, but also the famous gold medal beer, renamed lapland original lager.
