Now all but extinct as a style, Kulmbacher Export beers were historically dark brown lagers with high hopping rates. Think of offering inspired by the historical style as almost like a “Brown IPL” or an “India Brown Lager” of sorts, but using traditional German hops and heirloom barley. It is malty with a classic lager character, but also aggressively hop-bursted and dry-hopped like you have come to expect from Tombstone.
