Beer description
Celebrating the Somerset terroir, loaded with 800kg of local strawberries, added to a barrel aged local grape fermented sour beer. Crisp, bright and full of strawberry deliciousness.
For the blend, we carefully selected twelve oak barrels (six red wine, four white wine and two PX sherry barrels) that were filled with 2018 Squashed grape and 2019 Pressed for time. We found some amazing Somerset strawberries that we crushed by hand and added to the blended beer, where they are fermented and further macerated for one month before the beer was packaged and bottle conditioned.
