Beer description
Leave well enough alone, right? The brewery loves their Free Verse. But they thought that it would be interesting to try out a new spin on our flagship India Pale Ale. So one day the company diverted regular Free Verse wort to a different fermentation vessel, where it was fermented solely with a strain of Brettanomyces isolated from a respected Belgian Lambic producer. As opposed to the ale yeast used to ferment traditional Free Verse, this Brett fermentation showcases distinct pineapple and overripe mango flavors with a touch of tropical funk. The beer received the standard Free Verse dry-hopping treatment in order to maximize hop aroma. Bottle conditioning provides Brett Free Verse with a soft, natural carbonation and deeply nuanced flavors.
