Beer description
Originally created as a single-cask version of the in-house Black Tuesday Imperial Stout. The base beer is a mixture of some bourbon barrels of the Imperial Stout of the brewery, which can range somewhere between 16-21% in alcohol. Once these barrels are selected, fresh vanilla pods are cut into the barrels, along with cocoa tips sourced from the San Francisco-based TCHO Chocolatier. After a few months, the barrels are mixed to taste. The result has strong aromas of chocolate, vanilla, oak and bourbon.
