Svyturys Brewery - Zalia Balta

We specially brewed this beer for the fans of Lithuania's most famous basketball club 'Kauno Zalgiris'. We named it 'Zalia Balta' (eng. Green white) for the team's official colours. This beer is characterised by a higher than average bitterness and a rich malted taste which is enhanced by the use of caramel malt. Our brewers chose more bitter hops not only for the taste, but also to obtain a higher consistency foam. Aromatic hops highlight the 'green' aroma and caramel malt is reflected in the golden colour and taste of the beer.
