Strand Batch 100

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a slight dark tan head. Aroma is very malty with chocolate and maybe coffee. Med body. Flavor is treacle/toffee, smooth dark malt, coffee. Not getting chocolate, but the dark malt flavors are strong enough to hide a little. Might be a touch of anise. Finishes dryer than expected, but malt is still pretty dominant.
