Beer description

The idea for Storm&Anchor (new: S&A Brewing) came about over 15 years ago when Tom Stricker was living in Australia for 18 months. People were bored with the only two beer giants. Craft beer brewing started to grow Down Under. Back in Winterthur, he wanted to live out his inspiration and started with homebrewing. After a few years of brewing experience and creating recipes, he moved to Kyburg and had the opportunity to increase the size of the brew from 20 to 150 and then 800 liters. Unfortunately, this had to be discontinued in 2014. It was time for a fresh start. As a gypsy brewer, I started hiring it from various breweries to produce Storm&Anchor (new: S&A Brewing). His first stop was the Ticino Brewing Company. Various collaborations with 523, Trois Dames, Secret Engine NY, Dave Santiago followed. The Doppelleu Brauwerkstatt is currently giving him space to be creative when brewing.
