Rich. Complex. Aggressive. These are but a few words that typically describe Imperial Stouts and Dark House is no different. Brewed in the fall and cold aged for over a year, this massive opaque beer has had the advantage of time to develop flavors, aromas, and synergy not present in “young” stouts. Expect flavors of chocolate, intense coffee and dry roast, dark fruit (e.g. plum, cherry, raisin, port wine), burnt caramel, and warming alcohol. Full bodied with a velvety, luscious texture and a sweet finish. Available for a limited time, we recommend picking up a 750ml bottle (while supplies last) to age further in your personal beer “cellar”!
