Spilled Grain Brewhouse Africanized Bees

In the brewing world, South African hops have always been extremely hard to get and a “unicorn” of sorts for brewers in the US.company recently got hands on a small amount of African Queen and Southern Passion, two hops perfectly suited for hazy IPAs. With aromas and flavors of gooseberries, guava, passion fruit, melon, and grapefruit this IPA is burst with tropical fruit and juiciness. But to take it one step further, we took inspiration from the hop source and Africanized Honey Bees, also known as “killer bees”, to add pure local honey.
