A hazelnut brown Doppelbock with a fine foam crown which is particularly distinguished by the long storage. The nose does not see the forest for the trees! A smoke aroma of classic ham over deepest forest fruits stands out for its complexity. Simply overwhelming! The draw doesn't stop there on the palate either. In the nose, a caramelizing sweetness warms the palate and is replaced by a spicy persistent slightly toasty aroma that lasts through the wood barrel aging fine mild. In the finish, the Doppelbock represents its home with a rich Franconian bitterness!
